Where the streets have no name and the imagination can soar.
Fear is an individual’s own journey, masked by negative thoughts. The key is within. Sure, we can rely on someone else to take our fear away but codependency is a toxic trait to have. If you are relying on someone else to take the fear from you, can you really say you conquered it?
Persephone’s garden invites you into a space where you can roam freely in the light and dark of yourself. She allows you to see both worlds that lay awake inside of you. The self and the soul begs to be free. Allowing them to come to the surface knowing it’s safe, that’s the key.
When they meet in the light for the first time, there is a garden waiting to be explored. The myths about Persephone and Hades speak volumes on toxic relationships. However, I believe that the story also means the relationship we have with ourselves. The “self” and the “soul”. Something to think about, while you gaze on this beautiful canvas of flowers.
Don’t fear the darkness within, embrace it with the light. You will find a love you never thought could exist. You have the strength to overcome yourself. I believe in you!
My new journey into healing the soul through art. Walk with me for a moment.
All the pretty pictures you see on my accounts throughout social media, they actually tell hidden stories. Chapters of beginnings and endings, love and hate, being lost and finding oneself again. See as an artist, I heal myself through sculpting sheets of paper to create something beautiful.
I am here to be a lighthouse. Shinning the light for other hidden artist that are waiting to connect with something that might bring them hope. I will be creating a series of canvases that touch on healing coming up soon. I think a few things need to come to the surface in how we treat ourselves, how we connect with others too.

Love this post ! So reflective and insightful !
Fear is indeed powerful enough to keep us from reaching our full potential and living our best lives.
It holds us back and prevents us from taking advantage of opportunities that may come our way!
You have to feel the fear ….. and go for it anyway ! PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION!!!
