Let me introduce you to Mara, she is a white speckled fairy gourd. She wants to travel the world and eager to explore what life has to offer. Very unique not just by her spots but also the tiny treasures that lay among the leaves too. She is dressed in white to represent purity. However, she has a few spots on her which sometimes makes her insecure. What she doesn’t know is that her spots sparkle in our eyes.

I think we can all relate to her sometimes, can’t we? Insecurities can run deep inside of us, and some so deep that they can impact the quality of our life. Let’s celebrate our differences instead! What an energy to feel, pure acceptance of one’s self. That is the ultimate freedom to feel the love of your own heart. The warm beats that echo in our soul to remind us that we are alive and allowed the freedom to explore ourselves without judgement. Only you can set your soul free.

Sometimes we think that if we looked like her, or acted like him, or had what everyone else had then that is when we would feel it’s time to shine. That’s when we would feel the love that our soul longs to feel. Well, my fellow spirits, that’s not how it works. It will only leave you empty and desperately searching for more.

Did you notice the skulls laying among the leaves? See sometimes she allows her thoughts to roam where the dead lay. Negative thoughts can decay our soul and actually make us sick. It’s true you can research it if your mind went straight to being skeptical. You might have a few too! She has days that paralyze her in fear that she is not enough. Thoughts tend to linger and lay in the ground of her subconscious, which those graves are marked by the skulls. Skulls, metaphorically, are trigger points. Harsh reality is that they can get in the way of us living to our full potential.

Look at her wonderful ideas popping up around the leaves, aren’t they splendid? The flowers represent her creative juices, flowing from one leaf to the next. Eventually they will create a wonderful garden of hope and aspirations. My job as the artist is to help her clean her garden up. Making sure that I teach her the skills on how to pull those nasty long roots that hold the skulls so tightly to her. Repair some of the spots that the glitter might come off when she tries to cover them again. I will be her lighthouse!

I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction of Mara. She is definitely not camera shy at all haha. Until next time my readers, shine bright and send out love to the world. We definitely need more of it these days! Looking forward to sharing more on this topic soon.
