It’s September, and that means the leaves are getting ready to change colors. I get so giddy when the night air cools off a bit, and I can sit under the stars with a blanket. I love the smell of the fire pit while I’m cozy under my blanket too. I have been creating a collection of small canvases for fall. I love working with these colors. I get to play with a lot more color on fall leaves and I have such a fabulous time coloring them.
My inner child comes out and it gets to explore all kinds of fall ideas. I enjoy using the black chalk paint on the canvases, it makes the colors pop. It really brings out the shades of colors that are on the leaves as well as the petals on the flowers when I color them.
I am working on a collection of fall inspired mini canvases and hope to have them up in the shop in the next couple of weeks. Adding cute little fall sentiments to them will make a nice touch to add to any home decor space. I love adding them to my three tier tray in the kitchen.
Fall is definitely in the air here at Virginia Beach, Virginia and I’m excited to show you what I am making next! Until then, I hope you get inspired to start on your fall craft projects.
Happy crafting!
